Santosh, Ohio
I felt hopeless and was searching on the internet for help when I came across her website. God answered my cry for help. Jaimie helps point us to Gods Word so I can live the life God wants us to have with peace and joy.

Andrew, Minnesota
How can I thank God enough for all the things he has taught me through the master class, the coaching sessions and the community? I can't. But, I am grateful and joyful for God's blessings through it all.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, I am not a mental health provider of any kind. I am not a therapist, counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist, and I do not provide therapeutic treatment. And for that reason, no, I don’t accept insurance.
I’m here to support you theologically, spiritually, and practically. Certainly, we talk a lot about how OCD works, because we need to know how it is infecting our spiritual lives. But in this process, I cannot diagnose you, I cannot give you advise on medications, and I cannot do interventions like CBT or ERP.
We’ll spend our time in Scripture, dealing with the deep heart matters of how we view God, how we view ourselves, and how the gentle power of Jesus can help us let go of our obsessions and compulsions.
No, I don’t take insurance because I am not a medical provider (see previous question).
I have two BA degrees — one in elementary education and one in Biblical Studies. I have an MA in Islamic Studies and a doctoral degree in missiology (the study of Christian missions).
I have over 12 years of ministry experience, which has included Bible teaching, cross-cultural evangelism, and compassion work for Syrian and Iraqi refugees. I’ve also done extensive work as a Christian writer and editor.
After helping many people work through their scrupulous obsessions and compulsions over the last few years, I simply didn’t have time to help as many people as I wished while keeping my former job. So in late 2019, I decided to go full-time as a scrupulosity coach.
Absolutely. I have worked with people of many backgrounds, including Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Non-Denominational, Catholic, Charismatic, Seventh-day Adventist, Reformed, Episcopalian, Hindu, and Muslim, just to name the ones that come to mind.
I try my best to be sensitive to the nuanced views each person brings with them to the table. Ultimately, I like to present the Word of God and allow each client to form conclusions for themselves about what God is really like and how He is active in our lives.
Our group coaching sessions offer an intimate setting to discuss scrupulosity and the Bible. We generally begin with about 45 minutes of Bible lecture and guided discussion, then finish with about 30 minutes of open discussion and Q&A, where members share their struggles, victories, and sticky questions about how to move forward in certain areas of their scrupulosity.
You can be as interactive or as anonymous as you’d like. Many people leave their camera off while others participate fully. We ask participants to be sensitive about how they share content that might trigger others (either by giving a trigger warning or saving their question till the very end of our group time when some of the more sensitive members have logged off).
I think you’ll find our group very welcoming and supportive. Many group members make friends that offer mutual support and accountability outside the meeting times. You can expect to be encouraged, challenged, equipped, and comforted.
Private coaching sessions meet via Zoom and are one hour in length. In our first session, I like to do a lot of listening—typically, I’ll share a few details about the coaching procedure, then pray and turn the time over to you. I’m interested in hearing about how your scrupulosity started, how you’ve tried to deal with it, and where you are today. Throughout our time together, I’ll ask some questions to help me get a fuller picture of your struggle. Usually, I like to leave a bit of time toward the end to begin setting up an action plan.
I do not have specific coaching packages or schedules, as I know everyone has different needs. Some people meet with me every week, every other week, or every month. Others worked with me for some time and now only check in once every few months.
You can expect to go deep in a discussion of your relationship with God as we begin pulling apart which aspects are biblical and which are obsessive-compulsive. My role is as both a coach and a consultant. As a coach, I support your goals for getting better, and I’m here to be your biggest cheerleader and spiritual supporter. But as a consultant, I realize that not everybody knows what needs to be fixed or how to go about fixing it. So I make suggestions and help troubleshoot the situation so that you’ll know how to form those recovery goals.
As always, do keep in mind that I am not a therapist. I do not provide “counseling” or “therapy.” Everything we do together will support your recovery journey but will be based on a biblical reflection of how God wants us to respond to OCD.
I am very limited in how much email correspondence I’m able to answer. I receive dozens of emails every day and am not able to reply to all. I prioritize emails from my current clients—both private and group—but even then, I cannot guarantee that I’ll have time to answer every email. My response rate is lower for reassurance-seeking emails and higher for technical questions and guidance questions.
If you have a question that you’d really like to have answered, I encourage you to join our group coaching sessions so that you can participate in our open Q&A times.
If you request a cancellation and refund of your one-on-one coaching session at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting time, you will receive a full refund. If you are unsatisfied with your experience in the Scrupulosity Academy, you may request a refund, and I will return your money for the most recent month that you paid, no questions asked.
Refunds take 5-10 days to show up on your bank statement.
